Katelyn in Kolor!
I had practiced drawing Lauren and Katelyn for their visit in June, but when they came to the park I was too nervous to draw a proper cariacture(the drawing was embarassingly aweful) so I decided to redo it at home. I put it off all summer, but I finally got around to finishing it last night.

I don't know why you even tried to draw from this horribly lit pic...you can't use black on a person's face like that...
Oh yeah, big bulbous eyes sans eyelashes are very frightening indeed.
Ryan is right, the lighting sucks
but its good that you drew from life
instead of the typical fake light source
but really try to get darker
other wise it just blends together
and looks monotone
also, you should work on your likeness. really try to relate every piece of the face to one another.
and make sure that they are all working int he same rhythm
like a portrait would
sketch in pencil
and try out a face alot more than once
